Phone:225-272-0814 sjohnson2@ebrschools.org Park Forest Elementary Creative Sciences and Arts is a STEAM-focused magnet school funded by the Magnet Schools Assistance Program (MSAP) Grant. Park Forest Elementary Creative Sciences and Arts is committed to cultivating an interactive, project-based learning community where students are actively engaged in discovering how to preserve our environment. Through our Creative SmartLab® program, students build academic connections and develop next-generation skills. Whether students are exploring coding, websites, or structures, they develop critical-thinking skills, solve problems, and collaborate while learning valuable project and time management skills. Students are introduced to renewable energy resources by engaging in diverse learning experiences to help them understand the transformation of energy (solar, water, and wind) into electricity. The school’s audio lab provides integration of Entertainment Technology to include film, photography, and music, allowing students to become more creative, innovative learners eager to embrace and capture their learning experiences.
