Friday was a kick off to our community building activity "Restorative Circle Friday". This time is dedicated to build a safe, supportive environment with our students.
 The Mayor deemed September 24, Park Forest Day 4 years ago for winning the city-wide water challenge. We took the Wyland Foundation National Mayor’s Challenge for Water Conservation and won in 2019. This week we will celebrate with simple daily activities while enhancing our Magnet theme with hand-on activities'.
 Parents we need your help. Park Forest Elementary wants to pay it forward to Jackson, MS. During the great flood, a school in Jackson, MS donated uniforms, resources, supplies and materials to our school to help give us an amazing start. Now, its our turn to pay it forward. Please donate a case or cases of water to help us support the water crisis in Jackson Mississippi.
