Congratulations to our Student of the Year 2021-2022 at Park Forest Elementary Creative Sciences & Arts Magnet School Mr. Drake Hamilton!!!

Born in Baton Rouge, LA., Drake is a focused scholar who aspires to study Mechanical engineering and become a Robotics Engineer. In his spare time, he does science experiments, plays video games, teaches his younger brother new and cool things, and even builds robots of his own. Drake is a member of the Magnet Ambassador's club at our school. He is also the voice on our daily morning routine video, "Welcome Back" where he is heard reading our Mission, Vision, and PBIS expectations.

Drake volunteers with various organizations, some of which include Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital (Asthma Camp), United Believers Baptist Church, and Souls to the Polls group. He prides himself on being the perfect gentleman and even holds the door open for the ladies.

When asked if he were a change maker in the world, what would he change, Drake said, " If I could change the world I would tell people to stop using non-renewable energy sources like chemical plants or fossil fuels and use renewable energy sources like hydro energy, solar energy, and wind energy because it is cleaner and it doesn't harm our environment."
